Keith Mathis: Board of Director


Keith C. Mathis is the President and CEO of World Digital Innovations (WDI). Headquartered in San Diego California, World Digital Innovations is a corporation that specializes in the convergence of Voice, Video and Data over Internet Protocol (IP). After 17 years of industry experience and having generated personally more than $200,000,000 in revenue for other firms, Keith and his wife Karen formed WDI to bring a new dynamic to the Information Technology and Audio Visual Industries.

Keith was born September 5, 1954 in Paducah, Kentucky where he attended elementary, junior high, and graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School with Honors. Keith was a member of Who’s Who in America for High School Academics, a three year starter and letterman in football, a member of the two-time Kentucky High School State Championship Track Team, first chair in the High School Performance and Jazz Bands, and a member of the ASB and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

 

In 1972 Keith was awarded a joint academic and athletic grant in aid to attend Centre College of Kentucky, also known as “The Harvard of The South,” where he became a four year starter and letterman in football, a catcher on the baseball team and a member of the college social committee. Keith received a Bachelors of Science in Psychobiology becoming approximately the 25th African American to graduate from the College that was established in 1819.  Upon graduation, Keith was hired by Centre as an Admissions Counselor and Assistant Football Coach and was a member of the staff who helped bring the “Conference All Sports Trophy” to the College. 

 

Keith is on the Board of Managers of the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA and has been married to the former Karen Harris of Richmond Kentucky for 25 years. Keith and Karen have three daughters, a grandson and two granddaughters.
