Mission Statement
To enhance the developmental success of individuals by delivering the core principles of transition to athletes who are members of the global community of sport.
Vision of the Organization
The vision of the On Focus organization is to provide comprehensive support services to athletes from global communities through educating individuals and groups on the core principles of transition.

Beginning in secondary school, athletes spend the bulk of their free time preparing for competition and ultimately competing in their chosen sport. The necessary time devoted to athletics does not provide athletes, from all educational sectors, time to plan for the life transitions they will face. As a result, upon completion of an athlete’s career, at any level, transitions are apparent and unclear. Athletes who have not developed a clear transition plan, in preparation for when they complete sports, are more likely to face adversity in several areas such as employment, graduation, social adjustments, and identity. Consequently, how do athletes adequately prepare for the upcoming transitions? Whose responsibility is it to assist these student athletes during their transitions? How do athletes access the necessary resources for a successful transition? And how can institutions of higher education and professional organizations effectively support athletes?
On Focus aims to provide athletes with the transitional support services needed in conjunction with the lessons they have learned from sport participation. The vision of the On Focus organization is to effectively deliver the five core principles of transition, which include: Education, Support, Planning, Exit Preparation, and Progress. The principles are delivered through direct services for athletes, as well as services for educational institutions and professional organizations.
